Yellow Emperor partners with Lane County’s School Garden Project to help provide more kids with education on healthy living, gardening, and environmental stewardship.
The School Garden Project is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to help Lane County schools develop onsite vegetable gardens where they teach children standards-based science and the basics of growing food, using the garden as an outdoor laboratory. Through their community outreach and partnerships with local business, they are able provide a space, skilled instructors and a high-quality curriculum to over 1,400 elementary school students annually, all with the purpose of teaching our youth how to choose a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.  Yellow Emperor is proud to partner with another organization that strives to reinforce the interconnection between humans, nature, and wellbeing.
