Yellow Emperor is a proud member of United Plant Savers, and organization dedicated to protect medicinal plants that are native to the USA and Canada.
The growth of herbalism and natural medicine in the Western world has led to an increase in demand for medicinal herbs. While there are many benefits to the spread of herbalism, it also results in diminishing plant species. The goal of United Plant Savers is to protect these native plant species, while ensuring that there continues to be a large enough plant supply for the growing Natural Products Industry. The United Plant Savers provides information on plants that are at risk of extinction, as well as educational opportunities for individuals and businesses to see what they can do to help preserve the plant species. Additionally, our membership allows us to support plant sanctuaries, community gardens, and other programs that work to achieve the goal of sustaining local plant and herbal habitats. Many of the products that Yellow Emperor makes come from herbs and other plants grown in the USA, so it is important that we do our part to help preserve these habitats.
